How to end an eventful term of 4th Letchworth Beaver Scouting in style?
Book a family trip on a river cruiser up the Ouse from Bedford Marina, of course.
47 parents, Beavers and siblings (plus Ocelot, Darzee and Dragonfly) embarked for a leisurely one hour tour of the waterways, with commentary on the landmarks and local fauna. Having completed out the tick lists, we checked out the new riverside leisure complex before returning back to the Marina.
As part of the trip, all the children and Scouting siblings earned their Time on the Water badges, but two children, James and Nathan, were rewarded for their hard work by receiving their Chief Scout’s Bronze Award from ADC (Beavers) Dragonfly.
What a great end to a fantastic term!
