The District minibus is available for hire by members of Scouts, Guides and other non profit making organisations.
The lightweight minibus is a 2017, long wheel base Peugeot Boxer, diesel, 17 seater (including driver) with a tow bar.
The minibus can be driven on a standard car (B) license.
Unless towing when a full D1+E is required.
The use of any trailer with the minibus is not covered by our insurance. Towing may be carried out at the hirers own risk.
All drivers must demonstrate that they are a safe and competent driver of such a vehicle.
Therefore they must hold a current MIDAS qualification, Hertfordshire County Council Minibus Permit, PCV licence or a Full D1 licence or higher (Acquired D1 Rights (101 entitlement) will not be accepted without another certification).
Other schemes may be accepted on request.
Any organisation using this minibus will require a section 19 permit.
