The Scout section is open for all and the core age is 10.5 to 14 years.
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. When moving up from Cubs, Scouts will be introduced to their troop, Leaders, Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders.
The Scout section will offer a varied programme of events, some challenging, in a risk managed environment. Scouts are encouraged to participate in all activities and take responsibility for themselves, others and equipment whilst growing in knowledge and maturity.
